My name is Goodnight/MEATWARE (caps not necessary). I use it/its pronouns mainly, and I'm butch and aroace. I'm autistic and have ADD/ADHD, OSDD, as well as MaDD (maladaptive daydreaming) all that is to say, I may not be the most active or respond the quickest. I will try my best though.

SCP has been my main interest for a long time now. It is always something I want to talk about 24/7. I specifically love the Alagadda, sarkicism, and Church of the Broken God tales.

I am POSIC, and objectum.

More people who will talk with me about SCP, especially the sarkicism and Church of the Broken God tales, as those are what I'm fixating on the most. I've also been really into steampunk recently (I'm blaming Trunnion and the Cogwork Orthodoxy), so maybe if you like that as well?

Though I have been thinking a lot about a His Dark Materials AU for Alagadda, which doesn't focus on the darker stuff as much. by Goodnight; 1669505736; Report talkabt any art ya want and COOL FLAG ! by wren; 1669505911; Report part* by wren; 1669505972; Report Okay sooo since you allowed me free reign I'm just going to talk about some ideas I have about the His Dark Materials SCP Alagadda AU (that's a really long title so I'm just going to shorten it to HDMSCPA AU. Which lots like a mess but at least I don't have to type anything out. Basically what kick-started this whole AU was when I was reading the first His Dark Materials book, and then I thought, 'oh, this would be the perfect AU for the SCP universe!' And then I looked it up and found absolutely zero posts about a His Dark Materials AU (there's actually not a lot for any media) so I decided, 'screw it' and am now writing a very long fanfiction about this HDMSCPA AU. (By the way, a daemon is like a person's soul that takes on the form of an animal, which represents their soul. Just in case you don't know what a daemon is.) The first two characters I thought about were the Black Lord (who is also SCP 035) and the Wandsman (who many accept as basically just being SCP 049), since the Black Lord (who'll I'll call Anguish from now on) becomes a theater mask after leaving Alagadda, and is shown to have a love for acting, I decided to make a reference to a Greek God, Dionysus, and gave him a leopard for a daemon (leopards, and big cats in general, are supposedly associated with Dionysus. I don't know if that's actually fully true? I don't know a ton about Greek myths outside of like... Hades the game and some research I've done myself for this story). But I also made it have melanism, because... I don't know, he's the Black Lord and I wanted to at least have his animal match his color palette. There are other reasons why I gave him a big cat for a daemon but that's the main reason. For the Wandsman, I'm finding it a bit tricky. Only because I'm stuck between two daemons who would be good choices, but for different reasons. The first daemon I thought about was a raven daemon, because of course. Ravens are curious, and since the whole start of this book is about the Wandsman finding out about something, and his curiosity about it leads him to stay, I figured it would be perfect (there are other reasons too, this is just the main one). The next daemon I thought however, stuck to the whole 'Greek God theme', which was a snake! Not because he's a liar, or because he's part of the Church like in the books, or because he's hiding something and being sneaky about it, but actually because snakes are the animal most commonly associated with Asclepius, the Greek God of healing and medicine! (Side note: if you've ever looked at the symbol of emergency medical services ((EMS)) you may notice that it has a snake on it, or two snakes, that's actually cause of Asclepius! He is often depicted carrying around a staff with a snake wrapped around it, which came to be apart of the logo!) But I'm still stuck between these two animals for the Wandsman and I'm just not sure how I'd choose between them. Logically, the snake would be the better choice, since it follows the theme in the book. But...
