General

videogames i like include pathologic classic + pathologic 2 but i havent played the new one yet. not the biggest fan of the persona 5 finale, i'm half way thru persona 3, but persona 4 golden is the absolute best game of them all (no i will not be playing revival because nothing can beat golden and games who are prided on good graphics annoy me AAA glazers shut up i dont care if i can see someones 26th pore on their nose it is inherently classist to make such a detailed game that alienates a considerable portion of its fanbase who cant spend 5k on an nuclear powerhouse of a pc set up to play ur shitass game), stardew valley, ib, madfather, red dead redemption 2, baldurs gate 3, life is strange 1+2 (dont bring up other lis games around me they suck), terraria, ddlc, voices of the void, nier automata, and hades but roguelikes frustrate me so i dont play this one often lol

i've played a bunch of resident evil games (re2 and re5 are the only ones i've finished-- re4, re8, re3 are works in progress lol... but i havent played them in months) but i cannot explain the plot even with a gun to my head so please dont ask me to or i will spiral into a nervous breakdown.

when i was a loser (still am) at 15 i played a load of otome games and now im cursed with so much mystic messenger knowledge retention because of the way it was integrated into my daily routine for months, so i can hold a conversation about that if ur interested in those games

currently, i'm playing through faith the unholy trinity and the higurashi visual novels. trying to 100% needy streamer overload too but its a bit boring but im determined to finish it now

other artists i like are electric wizard, noragami, and titlefight and damn idfk if u want to stalk my spotify its linked i genuinely get an ick if i speak to people who dont have the same music taste as me i know its childish but i do... i mean i wont die or anything but i just get a bit turned off tbh . that being said absolutely dont talk to me if u listen to bbno$ unironically or if u refer to msi or panic at the disco as metal (it sends a shiver down my spine just recalling this incident)

Movies

top 3: house 1977, the elephant man, cat people 1942 (honorary mention for fallen soldiers who were recently in my top 4: twin peaks fwwm, the lighthouse 2019). these are my concrete favourite movies, but the 4th slot always changes, im still trying to find a movie that will move me as much as those did. if u want to see what movies i like my letterboxd is linked!

my favourite directors are david lynch and dario argento; my favourites are the elephant man and deep red respectively! i am really not a fan of sofia coppola and would prefer not to talk about her movies. sean baker is on thin ice, but i haven't seen enough of him to really judge, i just hated anora with a passion.

my goal this year is to get through all of jacque demy's filmography!! he's kind of the only french new wave director i enjoy (sorry to hiroshima mon amour enjoyers i just definitely didn't get it) i also want to explore lars von trier and john waters more

i like shakespeare! i love hamlet and twelth night, others i've read are macbeth and the taming of the shrew-- my next play is going to be a midsummers night dream ^_^ i'm a very passionate hamratio shipper (as is every hamlet fan methinks)

obsessed with the secret history by donna tartt, i could talk about henry winter forever and ever and ever...., honorary mentions include beasts (joyce carol oates), hour of the star, venus in furs, white oleander, catcher in the rye, frankenstein, the necrophiliac (gabrielle wittkop), butchers crossing, stoner, white nights, the silence of the lambs, the picture of dorian gray, the metamorphosis, sharp objects: i really enjoyed these!!!! i'm in the process of reading nausea by jean paul sartre, poor things by alasdair gray, and spy in the house of love by anais nin. i'm keen on reading intercourse by dworkin.

i absolutely hated the bell jar by plath, though i liked her poetry book ariel, lady lazarus is one of my favs and also special mention for soliloquy of a solipsist ^_^ my favourite poem is medlars and sorb apples by d.h. lawrence, and i really enjoyed crush by richard siken. love is a dog from hell did not impress me at all, and neither did neruda's love poems, except for "every day you play"! i love the line i want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees...,

i was really not a fan of the stranger by camus nor anything that charles bukowski or henry miller have written. if ur a nietzche d hopper dont talk to me i dont like him partially because i didnt understand a thing of what he was fuckigntalking about in thus spoke zarathustra but i digress. also dont talk to me if u label urself as a camus fanboy and hes ur pfp everywhere and ur quote en quote obsessed with absurdism yet uve never read anything by camus (ive literally met two men like this why does this keep happening to me)
