Because I've been addicted to the game since I was about 12, which means Y2020, I'm deeply interested in legacy map archival & forward-porting, specifically targeting Unreal Engine 5.1.1, for Pavlov: Vankrupt Games' flagship VR title.
I seek to participate in a hopeful, maybe naïve, maybe idealistic, maybe conceited attempt at revitalizing the dwindling non-Push PCVR playerbase, producing and releasing free tooling to minimize friction for consumers who might wish to port their favourite game map files of yesteryear into the digital battleground of todayear.
I believe this will enable the supersession of the rose-tinted 'UE4 Golden Age', and via the exhumation of maps from engines & games largely abandoned over the past 3 decades, rekindle the unabashed joy & immersion I and my friends (because anyone who plays the game is my friend) experienced back then.
