About me:
hey guys welcome to my corner of the web! my names nine, i float around the the cyberspace most days and return to my cave late at night.
as for me, I'm 17 and going to college in the UK for art and design, I like to code and create safe spaces on the interwebs for me and my friends. I wouldn't say I'm the happiest person in the whole world but I love to stay colourful. i spend a whole lot of my time sitting in bed on my laptop, smoking in my garden, sketching, hating what I create and cuddling my partner :p
but anyway! my page is a permanent work in progress so if you have any fun gifs collecting dust in your drive,,, send em my way!!! . my goal is that when you open the page you've essentially been flash-banged, wouldn't that be funny ha ha ha...
have fun! please send me a pm! check out my website! (www.dogzwrld19.neocities.org.uk)

Your profile reminded me of an antique store I frequented when I was younger. The first time I was there I was so small that the countless shelves and tables full of things (so full they blended into a big indiscernible mass) towered over me. Paired with the endless confusing hallways and staircases and rooms to explore I felt like I was in a maze. The walls of that maze were made of human history. Everything in those rooms was once held and cherished by someone at some point in its existence. Thanks. I should add that your website was about the same thing, though slightly more abstract in the feelings it evoked. im glad i can bring back those well described memories! i think thats what im going for... a maze of human history. THANK YOU SO MUCH I guess it was the pointillist background and neutral-morose colors that reminded me of the ornate tapestries depicting the German landscapes and Christian saints of which there were many on the run-down greyed yellowed walls. I thought of all those rosaries I saw between the old beer glass sets and porcelain. The floorboards were obviously very old and they creaked so loud that I was thankful the antique was never crowded or really inhabited by anyone but old people who lived nearby and had nothing better to do. I trotted down those creaky stairs and explored rooms I already saw a million times 5 minutes earlier because, in that mess of things, I believed new things would simply emerge on their own with no human intervention. They'd appear. And I believed that's how they got so many things crammed into those small rooms. dont apologise! you have a way with words, im so glad i reminded you of this memory, antique stores always have an air about them, although that could also be all the dust collected. i like to think that every time i enter a charity shop or antique store, the shelves and racks are fresh and new, like im entering a new store all together, a new page on the website full of shiny gifs stored in div boxes These are places you can visit through metal and an internet connection. I always thought of antiques and thrifts are separate places to the world. An accumulation of different parts of it made into a whole new thing. The dust in my house and the dust of those well-loved things a relative donated after death aren't the same. That dust has a kick to it. It's a kick in the guts to realize such things but the pain is almost pleasant. Makes me believe again that things do matter. |
OFC!!!! ur the coolest!!! my inbox is always open :p
