Music

Anything. No, seriously...Well, okay. Maybe a few genres I could do without, but otherwise I'm into anything that sounds good to me. In other words, throw 99% of music at me and I'm likely going to enjoy it. The stranger the better. My favorite genres include ska, hardcore punk, thrash metal, goth, and emo. Movies

Top 3 genres are psychological horror, spy films, and comedy, but I'm down for plenty of other genres. Basically my same rule with music; If I enjoy it, I'll watch it and probably like it. Favorite series above all is the James Bond series. Also a huge fan of Kevin Smith films (especially Clerks, Mallrats, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), and anything with Ryan Reynolds or Sam Jackson in it. Also a sucker for anything directed or written by Hitchcock, Kubrick, Lynch, Fincher, Judge, and Raimi. My top 10 favorites are: Joker | The Game/The Sixth Sense (Personal top favorites from Fincher and Shyamalan respectively) | The Matrix | A Clockwork Orange | The Empire Strikes Back | Pitch Black | Clerks | Scott Pilgrim vs. The World | Wayne's World 2 | Idiocracy |

Television

Really big into animated shows, as well as sitcoms, action shows, sci-fis, and westerns. Just like with movies, the more genres that blend together, the better. My top favorites in their respective mediums (animation, claymation, and live-action) are Futurama, Celebrity Deathmatch, and Always Sunny. I also enjoy digging for strange, obscure, short-lived, and off-color TV shows, especially those made with low budgets (I admire the creativity heavily, as well) and those made for old public access stations.

Books

Mainly read a lot of Stephen King, Douglas Adams, and Dan Brown, but also hop from author to author on occasion. Also read a lot of manga and graphic novels, a couple favorites being Shaman King and Scott Pilgrim. I'll read comics from time to time, but I'm not as big into them as I was in middle and high school so I'm not exactly the most caught up on those.

Heroes

My late friend Phillip, Henry Rollins, Robin Williams, and Roger Moore; More inspirations than 'heroes,' per se, but the sentiment stays the same.
