Møønie's Interests

General

I’ve got a lot of hobbies that keep me constantly inspired and engaged. As a V-Tuber, I’ve spent over 4 years creating content and connecting with my community. Whether I’m singing, gaming, or just vibing in my own unique way, it’s all about having fun and bringing smiles to those who tune in. I also love digital art—creating pieces that reflect my alt, edgy aesthetic while experimenting with new styles and ideas. It’s a way to bring my imagination to life and share it with others. When I’m not in front of the camera or the canvas, you can probably find me geeking out over Dungeons & Dragons or other fantasy games, diving deep into the mechanics and storytelling that come with these worlds.

When I’m not creating digital art or singing, I love getting lost in writing. Whether it’s crafting stories, characters, or just journaling my thoughts, writing allows me to channel my creativity in a deeply personal way. I’m also a bit of a foodie—I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. There’s something satisfying about taking simple ingredients and turning them into something delicious. Oddly enough, I find a sense of peace in cleaning too. It’s my way of grounding myself, making a space feel more comfortable and organized. It might sound strange, but the act of tidying up clears my mind and helps me focus, making it the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Whether I’m writing, cooking, or tidying up, these hobbies bring a unique sense of calm and accomplishment to my otherwise chaotic world.

Music

My playlist is a reflection of the vibe I’m always chasing: raw emotion, energy, and that perfect balance of chaos and beauty. Billie Eilish is my go-to for that moody, introspective pop perfection—her sound has that haunting edge that resonates with my soul. Then there's Avril Lavigne, the ultimate pop-punk queen, bringing that rebellious energy and catchy hooks. You know, the songs you blast when you just need to feel alive and carefree. And of course, I can't forget Alanis Morissette—the 90s alt-rock goddess whose lyrics speak to all the feels. She’s got that unapologetic intensity that I can’t get enough of.

Then there's Deathklok, Asking Alexandria, and Babymetal, because let’s face it—metal hits different. There’s something about the aggressive, thrashing sound that helps me work through my own chaos. But it’s not just those big names. You’d also catch me jamming to Paramore, especially when I need that perfect blend of angst and empowerment. My Chemical Romance is another staple in my playlist, especially when I’m in the mood for emotional catharsis wrapped in punk anthems. Evanescence is perfect for when I want to embrace the darkness, with Amy Lee's haunting vocals pulling me into that gothic, emotional space. And if I’m looking for something a bit more ethereal yet powerful, Florence + The Machine brings me that expansive, otherworldly vibe—it's like I’m floating on sound.

Along with the alt-rock and metal vibes, I also find myself drawn to the more subtle, yet equally captivating sounds of indie-pop. Artists like Lorde and Melanie Martinez have their own unique ways of weaving emotion into music, and I love getting lost in their worlds. Lorde brings that atmospheric, introspective energy with a bit of an edgy twist—her raw, poetic lyrics hit hard while her minimalist production lets every word sink in. Melanie Martinez has that dark, twisted pop edge I adore, blending innocence with unsettling themes in a way that feels both haunting and playful. These artists help me tap into a different side of emotion, one that’s still deep but with a more experimental, boundary-pushing vibe.

So whether I’m diving into intense, thunderous metal riffs or ethereal, dreamlike melodies, my playlist always carries that same need for authenticity and emotional depth—no matter the genre.

Movies

When it comes to movies, I’m drawn to a mix of quirky humor, fantasy, and deeply emotional stories. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a favorite of mine—it’s fast-paced, a little chaotic, and has that perfect blend of growing up, dealing with love, and finding yourself. Another one that resonates with me is Howl’s Moving Castle (though honestly, any Studio Ghibli film will do). The animation is magical, the characters are unforgettable, and it’s got that sense of wonder that pulls you into a whole new world. Speaking of emotional films, A Silent Voice hits me every time (I really have never felt so heard and happy-sad). It’s a beautifully crafted story about redemption, bullying, and the struggle to connect with others in a world that often feels isolating.

On the more lighthearted side, Shanghai Noon never fails to make me laugh. It’s a fun blend of action, adventure, and comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Then there’s Labyrinth, with David Bowie as the unforgettable Goblin King—an absolute classic that mixes fantasy, music, and whimsy in a way that’s hard to match. Forrest Gump is another one that gets me every time, particularly the emotional scene where Forrest talks to Jenny through her grave—talk about tearing me up. And finally, The Ridiculous 6 is a fun, western comedy where Adam Sandler plays a man raised by Native Americans who discovers he has a bunch of half-brothers. It’s full of offbeat humor and wild antics, capturing that perfect mix of ridiculousness and heart. These films reflect my love for unique storytelling, blending humor, fantasy, and deep emotions in ways that always leave an impact.

Television

In terms of shows, I’m super into anime that mixes high action with emotional depth and unique world-building. My Hero Academia is one of my absolute favorites—it’s got the perfect balance of heroism, character growth, and epic fights. I love seeing the characters grow, especially with Deku's struggles and his bond with his classmates. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is another big one for me. The animation is gorgeous, and the emotional stakes are always high. The characters’ struggles against the demons and their own personal battles keep me hooked every season.

I also vibe hard with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The dark, futuristic world with its emotional undercurrents really speaks to my aesthetic—chaos, rebellion, and technology collide in such a gripping way. Ki Mi Ni Todoke and Say 'I Love You' are a nice contrast to the action-packed series I usually go for. They’re emotional and real, diving into the struggles of growing up, finding love, and forming connections, which I think adds a bit of balance to my anime lineup.

Danmachi fits that perfect balance of fantasy, adventure, and character growth, especially with the dungeon-crawling aspect and Aiz’s amazing character development. Solo Leveling definitely stands out with its darker undertones and the amazing power scaling. Watching Sung Jinwoo evolve from weak to OP is just the kind of power fantasy I enjoy.

One Piece? Yeah, it’s a solid 6/10 for me. I respect it for its epic scope and world-building, but it’s just not my favorite, especially when it comes to the pacing. Sailor Moon isn’t my thing at all—I just can't get into it. It’s too sugary-sweet and glittery for my taste. And Dragon Ball is a similar case. It’s a classic, but it’s never fully clicked for me, despite its impact on the anime world.

Then there are the other anime I enjoy, like Attack on Titan. The constant twists, world-building, and emotional stakes are so intense, it’s hard not to get hooked. Neon Genesis Evangelion is also a masterpiece—if you're into exploring human psyche and existential dread, this one’s a must-watch. Steins;Gate is another gem for me. The time travel, the tension, the emotional payoff—it’s all so well done and unique. And Black Clover is one of my newer favorites. The magic battles, Asta’s determination, and the overall plot keep me coming back for more. Tokyo Revengers is another one that grabs me. Time travel, gang wars, and all the character development—it’s an emotional rollercoaster, but I love it.

I don’t really watch much live-action stuff anymore. It’s mostly anime for me these days, but when I do watch something outside of anime, I tend to go for the classics— things like How I Met Your Mother, or Seinfeld. There’s something about the humor and timelessness of those shows that makes them the perfect background when I need to unwind.

Books

When it comes to books, I’m drawn to stories that push boundaries, whether it’s through high-stakes fantasy or emotionally charged narratives. I love diving into complex worlds where magic, adventure, and human struggles collide, which is why I’m drawn to fantasy novels like The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin.

I also enjoy works that examine the nuances of reality—books like Night by Elie Wiesel and Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli have a profound impact on me. These stories aren’t just about survival, but about the emotional and psychological toll that war and tragedy take on individuals. They challenge me to think about history, humanity, and what we can learn from the past. I love books that make me reflect on life and existence itself. Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder, a novel about philosophy and the journey of self-discovery, opened my mind to new ways of thinking and questioning the world around me.

On the manga front, I’m all about stories that mix heartfelt moments with layers of complexity, like Spy×Family—a thrilling yet touching story about a spy who builds a fake family to complete a mission, but ends up learning about the bonds of family in the process. Toradora! is another favorite, with its mix of humor and deep emotional growth, exploring the complexities of relationships and personal insecurities.

Whether it’s high fantasy, thought-provoking philosophy, or touching stories of human connection, I’m drawn to works that push me to think, feel, and reflect on life.

Heroes

When I think of heroes, I think of people who really helped me become the person I am today. Sure, there are 'real' superheroes, such as Superman or Iron Man, but what about people like Harriet Tubman? Or maybe Joan of Arc? Those are actual, real heroes. So, without further ado, here are mine.

David Bowie

The ultimate shape-shifter, Bowie was an unapologetic blend of art, style, and rebellion. His ability to transcend genre and persona—constantly reinventing himself—aligns with the vibe of embracing individuality and pushing boundaries. Plus, his exploration of dark, cosmic themes and his androgynous persona make him a perfect fit for someone who thrives in the unconventional.

Marilyn Manson

Known for his boundary-pushing persona and dark aesthetic, Marilyn Manson's fearless approach to controversy and self-expression challenges norms. He’s the epitome of embracing your dark side, unapologetically owning your eccentricity, and turning societal expectations on their head—perfect for anyone who's into the gritty, edgy world of alternative culture.

Tina Turner

A queen of reinvention, Tina Turner rose from the ashes of hardship and overcame every obstacle with sheer power. Her rebellious spirit, gritty performances, and ultimate rise to freedom make her a symbol of strength and independence. For someone who loves to create their own path and turn pain into power, Tina’s legacy is a beacon.

Prince

Prince’s music and style were always a unique blend of sensuality, rebelliousness, and confidence. His ability to defy traditional gender roles, create his own rules, and experiment with sound and style speaks to anyone who refuses to conform. He lived life on his terms, pushing the boundaries of pop culture in a way that remains timeless.

Courtney Love

An icon of grunge and alt culture, Courtney Love represents chaos, raw energy, and unapologetic self-expression. Known for her rebellious attitude, punk aesthetic, and unfiltered personality, she embodies the spirit of the outsider—the one who thrives on breaking down expectations and embracing the messiness of life.

Keith Haring

As a graffiti artist who brought street art into the mainstream, Keith Haring’s work was revolutionary in both style and message. His art was all about pushing boundaries, embracing sexuality, and expressing vibrant energy against the backdrop of societal constraints. Haring’s boldness and advocacy for social change mirror the same energy you bring to the world: daring, loud, and full of color.

Siouxsie Sioux

Siouxsie Sioux, the frontwoman of Siouxsie and the Banshees, is a trailblazer of goth and post-punk music. Her distinct style and fierce energy make her the epitome of the alt-queen, embracing dark, mysterious aesthetics while delivering music that blends alienation with beauty. Her ability to turn the dark into something captivating and meaningful is something anyone drawn to the edgy side of life can admire.

Alice Cooper

A master of shock rock and theatricality, Alice Cooper was a true pioneer of alt-culture. His horror-inspired stage performances, combined with his dark, rebellious spirit, made him a defining figure for those who don’t mind standing out or even scaring people in the process. He was the embodiment of glam rock’s gritty, anti-establishment attitude, with an over-the-top flair that was all his own.

Jim Morrison

The Lizard King himself, Jim Morrison, was a figure of pure, chaotic energy. His poetry, mysticism, and wild lifestyle created a legend that still stands today. Morrison’s rejection of societal norms and his search for deeper truths through rebellion and rock ‘n’ roll resonates with anyone who sees the world differently and embraces the darker side of the human experience.

Lorde

A modern-day queen of alt, Lorde’s music is haunting, introspective, and unapologetically unique. She doesn’t conform to mainstream pop norms and instead creates art that feels raw and emotionally resonant. Her ability to be both ethereal and grounded in her dark, introspective work speaks to anyone who embraces the weird and the wonderful.

Each of these figures embodies a spirit of rebellion, artistry, and individuality, which aligns perfectly with your alt-edgy, creative vibe. They’ve all carved their own path and, in doing so, became symbols of empowerment for those who don't fit the traditional mold.

About me:

Yo, what’s up? Call me Moonie. 🌙

Pronouns: She ~ He ~ They | Demiromantic & Asexual

I’ve been rocking the V-Tuber scene for 4+ years, spreading good vibes and killer tunes. Singing is my soul, and I’m all about diving into geeky realms—whether it’s D&D, fantasy, or the epicness of Star Wars. When I'm not escaping into other worlds, you’ll find me with my amazing boyfriend, who’s my ride-or-die.

Alt, edgy, emo with a dash of hippie energy—my style’s all about individuality and self-expression. Let’s vibe.

Who I'd like to meet:

I’m honestly just here to meet people who catch my vibe—those who understand the art of being effortlessly ‘lazy,’ like my spirit is somehow permanently low on energy. I’m all about the chill, staying in the shadows, and avoiding the sun like I’ll burst into flames upon contact (which, let’s be real, with my track record, I might). If you’re the type to vibe in cozy corners, avoid daylight at all costs, and binge-watch the best D&D streams or dive deep into fan theories, we’ll probably get along just fine.

I don’t need a huge crowd; just looking for those who get it—who know that living life on ‘rest mode’ can be its own kind of beautiful chaos. So, if you’re down for slow days filled with off-beat humor, low-key creativity, and an occasional jam sesh, hit me up. Let’s create some new weird and wonderful memories while avoiding in-person social interactions together.
