Mostly 1920s-1960s but a there's a little bit of everything, everywhere, everywhen. Currently looking for slower melancholic songs from the 2000s. I love when they bring in an acoustic or cello!

Movies

I can and will watch the same movie 5 times in a week at the expense of everyone else in my living room! Current Favorites: The Wedding Singer, Shrek, Back to the Future, School of Rock, Mallrats, Clueless, Pirates of the Caribbean, Austin Powers.

Television

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, Malcolm in the Middle, Supernatural, Spongebob, Seinfeld, Married With Children, Phineas & Ferb.

Books

Classics, historical mysteries, secret knowledge. On a slow quest to see what my English teachers tried to show. I used to be a huge Stephen King fan and am still fond of a lot of his works, but there's only so many times I can let his protagonists be a writer from Maine without losing my mind. Currently Reading: The Haunting of Hill House, The Beautiful and Damned, Treasure Island. Recently Read: Frankenstein. Loved it!

Heroes

George Lucas, John Hughes, Leonardo da Vinci, George Carlin, Doug Stanhope, Amelia Earhart, Lotte Reiniger, Mike Myers. I've lost many a hero over the years. J.K. Rowling was one of them. I can't deny that Harry Potter had a great impact on me, nor can I pretend I don't laugh at shows like The I.T. Crowd at times, but I do my best to ensure I don't let them take me down a bad path.
