About me:

Hey there fellow human! I'm Maxxine, or just Max, I'm 17yo and my birthday is 05/01. I'm here to find some online friends with mutual interests such as Alice In Wonderland, writing poetry, listening to music, drawing, Lord of the Rings, etc. And also to distance myself a bit from other social media.

I might not be as active here as I wanted to, but you either you can send a message first or wait for me to dm u, both are fine with me, just be cordial and if u don't want to chat that's totally fine too just tell me if you're not up to it. Also keep in mind english is not my fisrt lenguage so it might take a while for me to form a good response haha, and if I'm not responding it means I'm probably just busy and I'll answer u sooner or later lol. (And I'd like to point out that I'm not interested in finding any romantic partner in here or anything like that, sorry lol)

To sum up my life a little, I'd say I'm a brazilian teen on my final year of high school trying to enjoy my life to the fullest, and to me part of it is to create conections with other people and to get to know other cultures and lifestyles.

One important thing to know about me is that last year I presented a play me and my theathre group wrote called "Alice, me?" (on a free translation from portuguese to english) that is based on the book Alice In Wonderland. In this play we talked about the struggles of teenagers on this transition to the adult life, using Wonderland as an allegory to losing the last bit of childhood wonder once you turn into a teenager. So as you can tell, I spent my entire last year deep diving into an Alice In Wonderland rabbit hole (see what I did there) and it became my ultimate fav book, I'd love to know more fans of it to share our perspectives on the book and the movies.
