tbh i think it's because nascar is full of men/teams that do not know how to market themselves to audiences other then the aging majority.

like there are so many drivers that are funny or interesting like cindric and gilliland but b/c they dont know how to present their personalities well no one really knows about them besides some nascar fans that care.
