Idk--Some of my favorite art genres are surrealism, dada, and collage--Also anything Jhonen Vasquez--Realistic gorey stuff grosses me out but I enjoy lovecraftian/cosmic horror and some body horror--Animal Crossing and other Nintendo games--I think Neocities is fascinating and I would probably make one if I knew anything about coding--I've also gone diving before!! If anyone wants to talk about marine biology and weird little ocean organisms with me I'd love to-

Music

Movies

Currently trying to get through a film class so forgive my pretentiousness. Raised on Adam Sandler shit, so this also includes movies that I despise with a burning passion. Asteroid City (Enjoyed. I'd like to check out more Wes Anderson sometime) Nosferatu (1922) (Enjoyed) Everything Everywhere All At Once (Cried to) Child's Play (1988) (Enjoyed) Grave Encounters 2: Specifically the second one (Did not enjoy) Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (Watched when I was around 6-7. Despise with a burning passion) Any discussions surrounding Billy Madison, Coneheads, or White Chicks WILL land me in an asylum. HATE. HATE.

Television

-Arcane--Glee (Family is forcing me to watch it somebody help please oh dear god)--Scott Pilgrim (In general too) Takes Off--Midnight Mass--The Umbrella Academy--Arrested Development- blinkies-Cafe-h-X

Books

-The Shining--Maus, in its own horrifying way--My Picture Diary--I'm not sure if it counts but I enjoyed I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream--Willing to talk about cheesy YA like One of Us is Lying and its sequels. Good YA I've read were They Both Die at the End and The Fault in Our Stars--I like most books I've read for classes like Animal Farm, Things Fall Apart and The Catcher in the Rye-

Heroes

Not sure...My parents, duh, but maybe also Guillermo del Toro, Alison Bechdel, Tove Jansson, Hayao Miyazaki, Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, Shirley Jackson, Stephen Sondheim and Stephen King? Internet-wise some people whose work I look up to are Vewn, David Firth, Joel Guerra, Neil Cicierega, Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling.

elizabeth's Blurbs

About me:

Liz, lizzy, beth, el, ect. Tired high schooler. Tried using Tumblr and ““X”” to connect with people but it felt too intimidating. This place seems nice. I think its cool how its trying to capture what the internet used to feel like. Homier. Idk maybe i just like messing around w the layouts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ General info: she/they preferred, resident of the Isle of Lesbos. Also, apologies if i end up coming across as weird, social anxiety and adhd aren’t the greatest combo.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anybody who wants to talk. Just message me if you want and I'll probably respond :-)
