david john tennant was born david john mcdonald on april 18th, 1971, in bathgate, west lothian, scotland to parents alexander "sandy" mcdonald, a minister, and essdale helen mcdonald (née mcleod). he has two older siblings, karen and blair. he is best known for his roles in doctor who(2005-?), good omens (2019-?), broadchurch (2013-2017), and jessica jones (2015-2019). he is 6'¾", and is married to georgia tennant (née moffat), whom he has five children with: ty, wilfred, olive, doris, & birdie.
