do you have any recommendations for visual novels? I've only played one (the arcana) and I'd like to try more (I don't rly have any money so if it's expensive I might not be able to try it, but who knows I could ask for them as gifts) :3 |
sorry for the late ass reply but YESS I SO DO!!! ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ one i always recommend is " Lookouts " by paranoidhawk on itch.io ! brief synopsis: trans furry cowboys. yes, it's exactly as good as it sounds. seriously. the atmosphere is spot on and the character design actually made me jealous. the soundtrack is on loop in the back of my mind 24/7. play it. :3
if you're looking for some quality late 2000s / early 2010s lesbian cringe - try " Butterfly Soup " by Brianna Lei (also on itch.io)! not even kidding i had my first 'oh my god girls are an option???' moment in like 2019 watching Gloom stream this game. i still think about that and giggle lmao (∗´ര ᎑ ര`∗) to quote the summary, 'a visual novel about gay asian girls playing baseball and falling in love.'
and then for some ones that are on my list / that i've heard good things about but haven't touched yet : " Cryptid Crush " by Drowsy Drake , " Don't eat the cashier! " by Miloff , " TOUCHSTARVED " by Red Spring Studio , " Parasite in Love " by Night Asobu.
