About me:

Eurovision's Number One provides statistics and similar information related to the Eurovision Song Contest. It will, for example, compare actual results with the betting odds and analyze whether the winner of each contest won the jury vote, the televote, both, or neither.

Eurovision's Number One was created in October 2024, and it officially launched in January 2025.

This is a fan account that is not associated with any person or organization that is involved in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Who I'd like to meet:

I have been a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest since 2018.

While I knew about the contest before, that year I became interested in Francesca Michielin's music, and upon learning that she competed in the contest two years prior (representing Italy), I decided to watch the 2016 edition and fell in love with Eurovision ever since.

Some time after the 2024 contest, I became interested in comparing the results of the betting odds on EurovisionWorld with the actual results of the contest, and my interested in making statistics about Eurovision grew.

Later that year, I decided that it would be nice to share the information I found throughout the summer, and that's how Eurovision's Number One was created

Naming the account after Helena Paparizou's song "My Number One," which earned Greece its first victory in the contest in 2005, the account for Eurovision's Number One was created in October 2024, and it officially launched a few months later.
