Dungeons & Dragons. Falling asleep to Scott the Woz compilations. Early 2000's licensed movie tie-ins. That feeling of waking to your alarm and realising it's actually Saturday. Weird archival projects. Visiting castles but knowing nothing about history. Correcting people. Making playlists nobody else listens to. |

Music |
I'm a fan of lots of music, mostly metal, but also 80s/90s pop, alternative, punk, synthwave, and lofi/nostalgiacore (basically whatever YouTuber recommends at 2am). I listen to a lot of power metal and thrash. Bands like Judas Priest, Anthrax, Powerwolf, Ghost, Blind Guardian. But also smaller bands, like Lords of the Trident, Visions of Atlantis, Seven Spires. Also, I used to pretend to hate pop punk and emo as a teenage metalhead, but now I find it charming. Also, I probably listen to too much Sonic OST music. I've seen the Sonic Symphony live twice and met Jun Senoue. So that's incredibly nerdy. |

Movies |
I'm a sucker for those 90s/00s action movies, where its edgey as fuck, everyone wears leather, and there's lots of angst and nu metal. Matrix. The Crow. Daredevil (the director's cut version). Punisher. Underworld. Dark City. I like sci-fi movies. Blade Runner. Star Wars. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Anything Marvel, but especially the Spider-Man Raimi Trilogy. I like slice-of-life movies like Boyhood and Patterson. Basically anything by Linklater, but especially School of Rock and Waking Life. I used to be obsessed with coming-of-age movies: Adventureland, Into the Wild, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Breakfast Club. I don't really have the heart to watch them as grown up, because they make me feel old. It hits different when you've already come of age and now you're just paying bills. Clerks. Garden State. Lost in Translation. The Social Network. Truman Show. Eternal Sunshine. The Dungeons & Dragons movie. |

Television |
Doctor Who. Especially the Moffat era. Eccleston was my introduction, but Smith and Capaldi were both incredible and it's hard to choose a fave. Pretty much anything Holmesian. Sherlock. Elementary. House. I'll throw The Mentalist and Lie to Me in there too. Community is probably my favourite series of all time and many bits live rent-free in my brain. "I'm a peanut bar and I'm here to say, your cheques will arrive on another day. Another day, another dime, another rhyme, another dollar. Another stuffed shirt with another white collar..." Most of the Marvel stuff, but especially Daredevil. Life On Mars. Most of the Dropout stuff, but especially Make Some Noise, Gamechanger, and Umm Actually... |
|
Books |
Hitchchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Pratchett: especially Mort, The Hogfather, and Nation. The Name of the Wind. HP Lovecraft stuff. Honestly, I used to read a lot more fiction, but life happened and I end up just reading a lot of non-fiction now. Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Repair. How to think like a Roman Emperor. Man's Search For Meaning. Happy by Derren Brown. |

Heroes |
I struggle with this, because many of my old heroes keep turning out to be assholes. |

Bradley's Blurbs
About me:
I play guitar, make 3D art, and I'm kind of an asshole. Until you get to know me, then I'm just an insecure asshole who will talk your ear off about dungeons and dragons.
Who I'd like to meet:
The deliveroo driver picking up my McPlant burger. Then I will politely nod and never talk to him again. Otherwise: Musicians. Nerds. Only people who are old enough to actually remember the old internet (i.e. no minors).
