About me:
I'm a huge enthusiast of underground UK bass scenes like 2000s dubstep, grime, garage; and am known for my lists on RateYourMusic such as 'Dubstep: The Early Years (1994-2006)' (which is the most liked dubstep list on the site! :D), as well as Must-Listen Albums, Beautiful Bassweight, & Oldskool Wubs. I've also been producing my own music for fun with FL Studio since 2018 when I was 14, so far with 10+ released albums/mixtapes and a total of over 350 songs.
Other than music I usually like watching youtube & twitch, play video games like roblox (mainly jailbreak / arsenal / blockspin + more), yoworld, minecraft, gta; read manga, occasionally watch anime, draw, or just chill. I'm mostly a pretty quiet & veryy shy person, but love connecting with ppl & communities when I'm up for it :)

releases under 'Brandon Phillips' are times captured in my life & fully represent my vision by strongly focusing on melodic elements with chill/introspective themes; whereas the 'Brandish Beatz' alias is primarily for darkish grime, dubstep & hip hop projects; the 'Buried Light' alias is for rock/metal focused releases influenced by hip hop, ukg & deep dubstep; and lastly the 'BP2004' / 'BP EDM' name is generally just for other electronic projects & experimentation from what my sound style is at the time.

since starting highschool in 2018 for awhile I kinda stopped playing, at least as much since school was so stressful and overwhelming now that I'd be too exhausted to wanna join, plus most ppl were only active after 11pm and my sleep schedule was bad enough already, and this was also when my anxiety started getting bad. I'd still hop on occasionally but barely at all in 2019 from memory, and so many friends were leaving the game. but in 2020 Alice came back and invited me to join her new family 'Lilacwine', and so this was our first time all meeting together at my place, and became bro & sis again and June our mum ^^
