My Interests (I think):

Pelle changed after he left Morbid and joined Mayhem, I think he wanted to find people who were just as extreme as he was. I read the book "Blod Eld Död" and there is a chapter there about Jon Nödtveidt and he explained the thing about Transylvania. Dead was wearing a T-shirt that said "I <3 Transylvania" (I can't make real hearts) and in the Metal-World, Transylvania can be seen as the afterlife. By committing suicide, you come to Transylvania and maybe there is a link between what Jon thought of the whole suicide thing and Pelle's suicide. 

One thing that we do know about Pelle's view of this world is that he didn't enjoy it, he didn't believe he fitted in here. He wanted to be somewhere else and maybe he believed in Transylvania, maybe not. Maybe he thought he was dead so he ended his life to become "real", maybe not. But it's the things we don't know about him that makes it interesting. He is an icon for sure. In his own way.
