General

I’m interested in a mix of things: tech, politics, bushcraft, philosophy, music, art, movies, gaming, lockpicking, science, and combat sports. I just like exploring different ideas and skills, whether they’re creative, practical, or just fun.

Music

I mostly listen to black metal, skramz, crust punk, digital hardcore, noise, industrial, post-punk, and grindcore, but I’m pretty open to anything. I’m definitely drawn to extreme and experimental stuff, but you’ll also catch me listening to smooth jazz, lofi, or rap depending on the mood.

Movies

I like a mix of horror, thrillers, psychological stuff, shockumentaries, documentaries, sci-fi, fantasy, comedies, and slashers. Especially big into weird 90s asian cinema!

Television

My go-to shows are Degrassi, Smiling Friends, House, Common Side Effects, and Steven Universe. I’m also into a bunch of different anime! At the end of the day I'm (not to sound like a broken record,) pretty open to anything as long as it’s fun or interesting.

Books

My reading taste jumps around a lot. I like exploring political theory, along with philosophy and different religious traditions like Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Judaism (I am a syncretist!). I’m also into medieval history and mental health books. If it teaches me something or helps me grow, I'll give it a read!

Heroes

I’m influenced by a range of leftist, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist thinkers; Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh, Kim Il-Sung, Malcom X, Angela Davis, Assata Shakur, Rosa Luxemburg.
