General	Relaxing, cooking, lifting weights, and hanging with the people I love most. Avid moviegoer #RegalUnlimitedgang. Coffee enthusiast. Hiking. Cars. Music. Fresh fades. Fashion. Food. Drinks. Home ownership projects. I am a huge movie and tv series buff. I studied in Finland & Russia, and backpacked by myself around Northern Europe in my early 20s. I am convinced Copenhagen is the most beautiful city on Earth and can’t wait to go back.
Music	I grew up in the ‘90s listening to everything then-current (alternative & pop) as well as all of the ‘70s and ‘80s jams my parents still loved. Huge into the new wave & 80s synth. Big on alternative ‘90s rock and grunge, r&b, some OG rap. A soft spot for some ‘90s country, otherwise I can’t stand it. Still listening to the same music from high school (mid ‘00’s emo/post core/etc.) Loved some mainstream up until the 2010’s, can’t get down with much of it now except a bit of Billie Eilish. I diverted from mainstream over the last decade and into a lot of Indie rock, electro/psychedelic & Alternative rock these days, and some mumble rap when I hit the weights. It’s 2021 and I 🗣WILL SEE ARMOR FOR SLEEP FOR THEIR 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR OF THEIR “WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE DEAD” ALBUM 💿 🗣 rip Tyson Stevens from SKSK ❤️
Movies	I’m into way too many movies to list tbh. My dad and I saw a new movie almost every weekend in the theaters. Oh, but I have to list The Crush. And Clueless. The Wedding Singer was a fave growing up, as well as watching the Star Wars films over and over with my dad.
Television	The Americans. Dexter. Burn Notice. Pose. AHS. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Weeds. United States of Tara. The Manadalorian. Peaky Blinders. Supernatural. Stranger Things. Hoarders. My 600 lb Life. Westworld. Ozark. Miami Vice. Tons of ‘80s & ‘90s shows. Again...way too many to list on the spot 👀
Books	Christine, The Tommyknockers & almost anything Steven King. Gang Leader for a Day. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F$&k. I should honestly read more.
Heroes	I’m just trying to be the hero of my own story. The second you fixate on a hero, is the second you start to compare and devalue yourself.

About me:

I’m a chill guy. I love to laugh and enjoy life. I’ve gone through a bit more trauma than the average person my age, but I’m still smiling. I grew up a little boujie for a midwestener. I’m a number-crunching Financial Analyst for a large corporation by day. I never really knew “where I’d be in five years” but I’ve built an incredible life and slice of happiness for myself when reflecting back. As much as I wanted to run away from here and move to San Diego, I’m glad I didn’t because I surely would have missed out. I may look like I’m in my early 20’s, but I was about 15 when the OG MySpace came out lol. I am not counting my 30th birthday due to the pandemic 🥳. I’m now a bit beyond my partying years, and I’m loving this nice, relaxing life with my partner, our dog, my family and friends. I’m an amateur landscaper and soon-to-be gardener. Fun fact: I’m dating the sexiest news reporter in Topeka, KS.
