General	Music, software, food
Music	Ween!... Seriously though, I have a very wide range of musical interests In general I'll take anything from my generation (gen X) over anything new, but this is just due to familiarity. Back in the 90's I actually didn't like most of the music of my day Most of what I have seen come out recently is total garbage, but i'd like to keep my mind open and still explore. I get bored very easily so the music has to be interesting. Khruangbin is one of the more recent bands we have discovered. We just saw them at the Greek along with another cool psychedelic band from Japan (Kikagaku Moyo). Also Lord Huron is pretty good. I am confident that there is in fact good music out there it's just not represented in any of the mainstream music outlets. This is unfortunate, but quite frankly no different than it was in my day.
Movies	Don’t watch many movies. The last one I saw was some star wars movie and it was so bad I could barely make it to the end.
Television	Old stuff, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and you know... Project Runway?
Books	Just read a biography of Frank Zappa, that was good Also just read O'Reilly Building Microservices... I think this is the first O'Reilly book that I have actually read cover to cover, but it will definitely not be the last
Heroes	I don’t idolize anyone

So, yea... I probably don't have a lot in common with most of the people on this site, but that won't stop me from blabbing my mouth and browsing around anyway. Truth be told, I didn't get a whole lot out of the original Myspace either.

I am in a committed relationship and I am old so definitely not here to pick up on women (or men for that matter). What does draw me to this application is that it is new, and doesn't yet have "the algorithm" that such sites like Facepalm and Instagratification have, or Tic Tac (whatever the F that is I don't get it)

Yes, I purposely misspelled those... you all (the younger generation) are purposely changing all the words and meanings so I get to do it also, nyah nyah nyah... :)

Anyhow, I play music, I have two bands, Stations of the Sun (google us) and a new one that has no name yet. I am also a software developer, and an author and a business owner and also a half-time student at CSULB (Yea I'm busy what of it?)

I have many political views and many of them would seem to conflict with each other. I'd rather not get into that stuff as I see how it has destroyed other social media things.
